Converter Victron Phoenix Smart

The Phoenix Smart converter is an efficient and reliable converter. Based on our tried and tested Phoenix converter platform, this model is housed in a new, slimmer, all-metal case. Models are available in 1600 VA, 2000 VA, 3000 VA and 5000 VA for 12, 24 or 48 V systems.

It's powerful enough to power most appliances that can be plugged into your car, caravan or home. Its toroidal transformer offers surge capacity for high power peaks, stable frequency and voltage, and a high-quality sine wave.

Installation is much simpler than before, thanks to terminals that are now more accessible to the installer, enabling a much more professional finish.

Thanks to its integrated Bluetooth functionality, configuring your power converter is much simpler than before. Through Victron Connect, configure alarms, alarm relays, voltage interrupts, output voltages, frequencies, eco mode and much more.

Proven reliability

The full-bridge topology with toroidal transformer has proven its reliability for years.

The converters are protected against short-circuits and overheating, whether in the event of overload or high ambient temperature.

High starting power

Necessary for starting loads such as power converters for LED or halogen bulbs, or power tools.

ECO mode

In ECO mode, the converter will pause if the load falls below a pre-set value. Once paused, the inverter will light up for a short period every 2.5 seconds (adjustable).

If the load exceeds the pre-set level, the inverter will remain on.

Remote on/off

A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to a two-pole connector.
Alternatively, the H terminal (left) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the positive battery terminal; or the L terminal (right) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the negative battery terminal (or the chassis of a vehicle, for example).

To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch

For our low-power converters, we recommend the use of our Filax automatic transfer switch. The Filax benefits from a very fast transfer time (less than 20 milliseconds), so that computers and other electronic equipment can continue to operate without interruption. Otherwise, please use a MultiPlus with an integrated transfer switch.
