Quality without compromise

Centaur battery chargers are simple, robust and economical, but without compromising our high standards of quality and the best performance that today's technologies allow. Epoxy-coated aluminum casings and stainless steel screws withstand the rigors of harsh environments: heat, humidity and salt spray. Temperature sensors ensure that all components operate within specified limits, if necessary by automatically reducing output power in extreme environmental conditions.

Universal input 90 to 265 Volts

Centaur chargers accept a very wide range of supply voltages from 90 to 265 Volts and from 45 to 65Hertz, with no need for adjustment. They are therefore compatible with all common voltages and frequencies, and can operate on unstable supply networks.

3 full-power outputs

3 isolated outputs enable simultaneous charging of 3 sets of batteries. Each output can deliver the rated charging power.

3-stage charging with temperature compensation

The Centaur charges at full power until the output current reaches 70% of rated power, then maintains a constant absorption voltage for 4 hours. The charger then switches to floating mode. An internal temperature sensor compensates the charging voltage by -2 mV per ºC per cell.

Charging voltage selector

An internal switch makes it easy to select the right voltages for the main battery types (Lead-Acid, Gel, AGM).

Charging current indicator

A front-mounted ammeter shows the charger's current flow to the batteries at all times.
